NextWidgets integration with PowerInbox now allows consumers to shop directly within E-Mail Newsletters
New York, USA – 8 February, 2012 – Today NextWidgets, a pioneer in transactional advertising solutions, announced NextMail, a system to enable online merchants to embed webstores directly into E-Mail newsletters. NextMail works through an integration with PowerInbox, the leading provider of interactive e-mail technology. NextWidgets is making the technology available to all of its clients already using NextWidgets multi-channel marketing platform. The launch enables online merchants to more effectively promote products to their existing e-mail newsletter subscriber base.
E-Mail newsletters remain one of the most important tools in the online marketing arsenal. Being able to embed a live store experience directly within the e-mail creates a rich and dynamic experience and minimizes the friction to exploring promotions and offers sent via the newsletter. The technology is particularly important to Transactional e-mails which are triggered based on a customer’s previous actions within the online shop such as abandoning a shopping cart, allowing the merchant to automatically send a reminder message with the dropped basket contained directly within the e-mail.
